Module 1-Immersion into Anusara Yoga
(Includes Immersion I, II & III)           

Immersion I – Stepping into the Heart (36 hours)
June 11 - 15, 2008 (Weds – Sun)

In this Immersion we will establish a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Anusara Yoga® by connecting deeply with its life-affirming Tantric philosophy. 
Subjects covered:

• Universal Principles of Alignment™
• Study and Practice of Yoga Postures
• Tantra Philosophy
• Pranayama and Meditation basics

Prerequisite:  30 hours of Anusara Yoga studies

Immersion II – Deepening the Journey (36 hours)
November 26 - 30, 2008 (Sat – Weds)

During this phase, you will be guided by Martin Kirk into a journey of his now famous Anatomy Training that will awaken your understanding of the Anusara Alignment Principles! We will further study Tantric philosophy as well as how this philosophy applies to the great yogic texts. Subjects covered:

• Yoga Anatomy with Martin Kirk
• Tantra Philosophy
• Yoga Sutras of Patanjali & Bhagavad Gita
• Paths of Yoga & Ethics
• Deeper practice of Pranayama & Meditation
• Level 2 syllabus poses introduced

Prerequisite:  Immersion I or permission from instructor

Immersion III – Path of Awakening  (36 hours)
January 30 - February 3, 2009 (Weds – Sun)

During this phase, we will dive deeply into the great Tantric text; The Splendor of Recognition and study the Tattvas which are the Principles of the Universe. Subjects covered:

• Tantric texts - The Spendor of Recognition and Tattvas
• Chakras, Kundalini and the Energy body
• Basic Sanskrit and names for Yoga poses
• Deeper study of Philosophy & Practice of Yoga Postures
• Develop a Personal Practice of Asana, Pranayama & Meditation
• Masterful Sequencing
